At Estancia Don Joaquín, guests have the opportunity to experience Gaucho Polo, our own special version of polo… minus the rules! It is played on our small private field, more intimate than a traditional polo ground, allowing guests to enjoy the game in a closer and more informal way.
The experience begins with a short introduction by our expert gauchos where guests learn the basics of taqueo (polo swing) and how to handle the mallet on horseback. Afterwards, a friendly and dynamic match is organized where gauchos and guests play together, with very few rules and a spirit of fun and camaraderie.
