Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, everyone can enjoy the experience of horseback riding at our estancia. Our 800 hectares of land and 150 horses offer plenty of variety to explore the land from the saddle.
The Gaucho Trail is a seven-day horseback journey across the vast landscapes of Corrientes, exploring more remote regions that differ from the land surrounding the estancia, and offering an opportunity to spot an even wider spread of wildlife.
Among the estancia’s activities, you will have the opportunity to experience traditional Argentine ranch work alongside the peones correntinos. Learn how to herd cattle, brand calves, and use a lasso, all under the guidance of experienced local gauchos.
Running through lagoons with a herd of free horses is something I will never forget. Your horses are incredible — so well trained and clearly cared for with so much love. I always felt completely safe with them and with your wonderful gauchos.

A truly beautiful place with wonderful people who are always attentive to your needs. Being a family-run business, you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The horseback riding is highly recommended, even for someone who has never ridden a horse before, because the guides are patient and explain everything from the very beginning. Fishing is plentiful on the Paraná River, which, in addition to having its dock very close to the lodge, is spectacular for someone who has never fished, thanks to the natural beauty and the variety of fish to discover. Furthermore, if you're visiting from abroad, keep in mind that this experience will greatly help you immerse yourself in our culture, as the food they offer is not only excellent but also very traditional.

An absolute necessity not only in Argentina but in the world. Where do I even begin? I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the first day to the last, I was treated like royalty. The hosts and the gauchos truly made me feel like part of the family. I met some lifelong friends and ate some of the best food I've ever had. Immersed in exceptional natural beauty, the horses were outstanding—well-trained and well-cared for—and the room was luxurious and incredibly comfortable. My only negative point about Escancia is having to leave this absolutely magical place.

We had a fantastic 8-day stay. While the focus was certainly on the superb horseback riding, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Thank you to the entire family for making us feel so welcome. Argentinian barbecue, fishing, birdwatching, herding cattle and horses, cooking lessons, cocktails, wine tasting—all in a wonderfully luxurious setting and among such kind hosts. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. I went with my daughter for the long-distance 'Gaucho Trail' and it was a fabulous adventure. The hospitality is second to none. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere extremely friendly and jovial, and the wildlife was breathtaking. I can't thank Anji, Diego, and José enough for their caring, warm, and generous spirit.

Don't hesitate and book this place. The owners are the most amazing, loving family we've ever met, and their 20 staff members are incredibly attentive. The food and drinks are 10/10, with three-course meals. The ranch is absolutely luxurious, beautifully decorated on 2,000 acres of gorgeous land, and you'll see lots of wildlife while driving. They have an unlimited number of trained horses for any skill level and provide helmets. You'll see real gauchos in action with cattle and horses. This was the most incredible experience of my life. I highly recommend it.

The attention to detail and effort the team put into every aspect of my stay was truly remarkable. I was able to ride twice a day, work with the gauchos, go fishing, take an Argentinian cooking class, and also switch off and relax. Angie, Fabian, and the team went above and beyond to ensure I had a perfect week at the Estancia. The horses were beautiful to ride, the food was exceptional (three-course lunches and dinners), and my room was very comfortable and sparkling clean. The service was impeccable—stay at Don Joaquín if you want to understand what 5-star hospitality is all about.

To the hosts and staff, your warmth and kindness turned this from a holiday into something truly unforgettable. You have created a place that reconnects people to nature, to each other, and to themselves. This experience will stay with me long after the saddles are put away and the dust has settled. Please give lots of kisses to Carpincho for me!
