All of the rooms are named after one of the local birds, which form a key part of the spirit of Estancia Don Joaquín.

El Estanciero
El Estanciero is the estancia’s most exclusive room, designed for those seeking space, privacy, and the authentic spirit of the Argentine countryside. With 80 m², it features a king-size bed, double en-suite bathroom, and a private gallery with outdoor seating. Its style blends understated elegance with the estancia’s rustic character, and it is the largest room on the property, located at the far end of the wing alongside El Biguá and La Garza Mora.
Rich in history, it was once the founders’ bedroom and was later expanded and redesigned while preserving its original essence. Created by Diego Solanet, it reflects a long-standing vision of comfort rooted in authenticity.

El Biguá
El Biguá is a 35 m² room located at the heart of the estancia, with views over the inner courtyard and countryside lagoons. Its location in the far end of the wing offers easy access to the heart of the estancia while remaining a comfortable and private space. The room features a king-size bed, a beautiful locally-sourced leather sofa, and traditional furniture including an English-style wardrobe. The design combines rustic materials with classic details, creating a distinctive and comfortable space.
La Lechuza
La Lechuza is a 35 m² room with large windows overlooking the inner courtyard and surrounding countryside. It features a king-size bed, two leather armchairs, and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Marble details, hand-painted tiles, and wooden floors create a warm, elegant feel. It also includes a private patio and can connect to La Lechucita, making it ideal for families with young children.
El Jabirú
El Jabirú is a 35 m² room with open views over the fields and swimming pool. It features a large window that brings in natural light with a king-size bed positioned to enjoy the landscape, and its own patio with outdoor seating. The room offers ample space and storage, making it comfortable for longer stays. Decorated in deep green tones, it includes a matching en-suite bathroom with green tiles and a bathtub, creating a cohesive and distinctive atmosphere.

El Cardenal Amarillo
El Cardenal Amarillo is a 50 m² room overlooking the inner courtyard. It features a king-size bed, a small living area with fireplace, table, and leather armchairs, creating a spacious and comfortable setting. The en-suite bathroom includes a bathtub and shower, and a third single bed can be added, making it ideal for families or groups of three. Located next to the main living and dining area, it offers both convenience and a relaxed atmosphere.
El Federal
El Federal is a 33 m² room overlooking the estancia’s inner courtyard. It features a king-size bed, an antique wardrobe, a French-style crystal chandelier, and a beautiful locally-sourced leather sofa, creating a refined and classic atmosphere. The room includes a private bathroom with both bathtub and shower, as well as its own gallery with an outdoor seating area. Its central position offers a close connection to daily life on the estancia, being next to the main living/dining room.
Junior Suites
El Churrinche
El Churrinche is a 30 m² junior suite with windows overlooking the countryside and nearby lagoons. Known at the estancia as the “red room,” it is defined by its warm tones and natural light throughout the day. The room features an antique double bed and bathroom with both bathtub and shower, offering a comfortable and relaxed space connected to the surrounding landscape.
El Naranjero
El Naranjero is a 30 m² junior suite with large windows overlooking the countryside and nearby lagoons, filling the space with natural light and ever-changing views of the landscape. The room features an antique double bed, a local leather sofa, and a bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Warm textures, soft light, and views of grazing horses just beyond the windows create a calm and inviting atmosphere — a place to slow down and settle into the estancia.
La Yunta
La Yunta is a 30 m² junior suite with large windows overlooking the inner courtyard, filling the space with natural light and views of the surrounding landscape. The room features an antique double bed and a bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Soft tones, warm materials, and the presence of nature just beyond the windows create a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere.

It is a double room featuring two antique queen beds and a bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Natural textures, soft light, and carefully chosen details create a calm and inviting space — perfect for resting after a day outdoors and settling into the comfort of estancia life.
La Garza Mora
La Garza Mora spans 25 m² and offers views over the countryside and surrounding lagoons. It is an elegant room featuring a king-size bed and a bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Located at the far end of the wing, alongside El Biguá and El Estanciero, the room enjoys a slightly quieter, more secluded setting — ideal for unwinding in complete tranquillity.
La Petiza
La Petiza spans 25 m² with a large window that offers views over the countryside and the estancia’s pool. It is a double room featuring two antique queen beds and a bathroom with shower. It connects to El Hornero through a small internal corridor, allowing the possibility to connect the two rooms, ideal for families or groups, if needed.
El Zaino
El Zaino spans 22 m² and is located in front of the estancia’s swimming pool, opening onto the estancia’s lawn where horses often roam freely, with a large window allowing for beautiful views. It is a double room featuring two antique queen beds and is decorated with carefully chosen details that create a warm and characterful space.
